There are many factors that must play together in order for your website to give you the results you need. Today, we are only going to talk about one of them. This is pretty much the very first thing you should do when thinking about going online.
Lets start with some questions to get your mind in the right mode…
- Are people looking for the solution that you are offering?
- How many people are looking for it?
- When they do look for it, how are they searching?
The term Keyword refers to the word or phrase that people enter in the search box (Google for example) when they look for something online. Keyword research is basically the activity to figure out what people are searching for.
Before you think about designing your website, you should have a pretty good idea about what your main keywords are. If you don’t do this, you are generally wasting your money. Your website will never be found. If you do any advertising, your money will be going to waste because you are targeting the wrong keywords.
